Pete Grove's production output during Woodwork's hiatus was limited and very selective. Three of his works from that period are archived here, re-released and collected on one EP.
Faded Principle is a melodic burner that holds down a steady groove while its slithery lead line repeats in variations against a call-and-response style second line. Numerous tiny riffs and hooks interject from the background. Next, I Don't Buy It builds poly rhythmic synth stabs over an off-time bass pulse with shifting and sliding drum fills at every turn. Cut and Dried completes the collection with its insistent repetitive hits, doused in thick ambience. Percussion bounces in and floats away marking every subtle change - raising a new burning question for every carefully given answer...
